    Overview

    Our GSBIO Tosyl-Activated Magnetic Beads are designed for robust, covalent immobilization of biomolecules. They consist of a superparamagnetic Fe3O4 core, a polymer coating (such as polystyrene or silica) for superior dispersion, and surface Tosyl groups. These groups directly and covalently coupling to primary amines (−NH2)  or thiols (-SH) without additional activation. Ideal for immobilizing antibodies, proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides in applications such as immunoprecipitation, cell sorting, immunoassays, DNA-protein interaction studies, and drug screening.
